To My Throbbing Mind
I sighed heavily. The sound of cheery pop music quietly dancing in the room. I glanced down at the amalgimation of papers, packets, and books laying haphazardly on my desk. I groaned and my hands began to shake and my heart began beating hard against my chest.
“I told you it was a mistake~”
“Shut up…”
I groaned and walked over to my bed plopping face first. A few tears wetting the coarse fabric of my pillow case.
“Look what happened, you got hurt in the end~”
“Fuck you! No I didn’t!”
“That’s why you’re crying, right?”
My heart hurt, I exhaled a shaken breath, everything hurt. I couldn’t tell a soul. I had made an ass out of myself now, I let out a distressed yell. Fuck! I must have sounded like a complete lovestruck fool!
“This is why you don’t fly off the handle and ruin your love life chasing after something you know couldn’t have happened~ I mean, he was the only one who stuck around with you~”
“No… stop it… it was worth it…”
“Was it really? You’re laying in your bed crying over someone who doesn’t feel the same~ Pathetic~ Hehe~”
“GET LOST! FUCK!”
I fell off my bed and onto the cool floor. My hands were shaking and I couldn’t breathe.
“My god I’ve been a fool…”
